What We Do

Our prime purpose is to make safety systems for material handling equipment using a mix of electronic and mechanical engineering skills built up over 35 years. This results in high quality critical products delivered cost effectively.

Designing your next sensor

As well as improving and extending the capabilities of existing products and systems, LPL Systems design engineers undertake prototype development for our customers. Working to a design brief and specification, or in conjunction with your own engineering staff, we will create new products for eventual manufacture.

Prototype testing

We can also use the skills of our staff and our extensive range of electronic and mechanical test equipment. This includes a 20-ton capacity axle test rig which is available for preliminary application testing of customer supplied axles, to identify the most suitable site for installation.

Rigorous testing and safety checks

Quality control and testing is built into our whole manufacturing process from receipt of components through to delivery of a finished product.

In house production and manufacturing expertise

Full control over the manufacturing process to ensure quality and reliability is maintained to the highest standard. We make all our own products from sourcing of components to PCB automation, production and testing.

PCB - control and application

Controlling our PCB manufacturing ensures an additional level of quality control and cost effectiveness. It also significantly reduces our lead time to go from design through to prototype through to production.
